Hannah Ross is an accomplished musician and arts leader with extensive experience in community engagement and education. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Community Engagement at the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra and Music School since September 2016, Hannah has held multiple roles including Community Partnerships Manager and String Faculty. In December 2023, Hannah became a Sphinx LEAD Fellow, participating in a prestigious leadership program aimed at empowering Black and Latinx arts leaders. Previously, Hannah contributed to the Rhode Island Foundation's Equity Leadership Initiative and served as Assistant Principal Viola with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony. Earlier experiences include positions with Community MusicWorks and a role as Chamber Music Coordinator at Bishop Hendricken High School. Hannah holds both a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from The Juilliard School.
