Cristy Raposo Perry

Cristy Raposo Perry has over 15 years of work experience. In 2006, they began working for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority as the Public Information Officer (Acting) and later as the Senior Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator. In this role, they were directly involved with public relations activities, including writing media releases, preparing press kits, and coordinating press conferences. Cristy also communicated detour information in English & Spanish via flyers, e-signage, sandwich boards, etc. and wrote copy for RIPTA and RIde’s e-newsletters. In 2010, they started working as a Freelance Graphic Designer. Prior to this, in 2003, they worked as the Marketing Director for Esanar Entertainment. In this role, they planned and executed events for Esanar’s two businesses, a nightclub and a billiard hall/event space. Cristy also designed and executed marketing plans based on key research and initiated promotions with partners, executing and analyzing results and evaluating for future initiatives.

Cristy Raposo Perry's educational history includes attending St. Raphael Academy from 1998-1999, Providence College from 1999-2003 where they received a BA in Spanish and Marketing, Johnson & Wales University from 2003-2006 where they received an MBA in Global Business Leadership, and they also attended the Universidad de Salamanca. Cristy also holds a Northern Rhode Island Collaborative and Goodwill Certificate of Training from 2013 Introduction to Travel Training Course.
