Janine Ahmed Connelly

Janine Ahmed Connelly is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in budget development and strategic planning. As the Director of Academic Budgets, Planning, and Analysis/Strategy at the Rhode Island School of Design since July 2012, Janine has been responsible for overseeing budget processes for academic departments. Prior to this role, Janine served as the Training & Education Director at US SAILING from November 1996 to July 2012, where responsibilities included developing operating budgets, conducting cash flow analysis, and managing program costs and revenue. Janine also held an interim position as Membership Director, focusing on operational improvements. Janine earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mount Holyoke College and attended the Sea Education Association.
