Kate Sacco

Kate Sacco currently serves as an SEVP Field Representative at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since September 2024. Prior to this role, Kate spent over 17 years at Rhode Island School of Design, advancing from an International Student Advisor to the Director of International Student & Scholar Affairs (ISSA), where Kate significantly expanded the office's capabilities and supervised a team supporting a large international student population. Previous experience includes working as an International Student Advisor at ELS Language Centers and a Senior Host Company Coordinator at CIEE, where Kate ensured compliance with various visa programs. Academically, Kate holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in Public Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, along with additional study at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Macquarie University.
