Katherine Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katherine started their career as a Community Manager at Anonymous Bodies Dance Company from 2010 to 2012. Later, they worked as a Departmental Associate at New York University, where they curated the Performance Studies Forum and organized the alumni network from 2012 to 2013. Katherine then became a Dating Consultant at Tawkify, an online dating platform, until 2015. Moving forward, Katherine joined Playboy Enterprises, Inc. as the "Just The Tips" Advice Columnist from 2014 to 2016. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Grant Writer at Ballroom Marfa, followed by a position as a Grant Writer at Pioneer Works Art Foundation from 2018 to 2020. Katherine also served as the Managing Director at worthless studios, a not-for-profit organization supporting artists, from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they hold the role of Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships at the Rhode Island School of Design, starting in 2023. Additionally, Katherine has pursued freelance writing/editing work since 2014.
Katherine Cooper obtained their Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts and Performance Studies from Brown University in 2009. Katherine later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Performance Studies from New York University, which they completed in 2013.
