Mary Banas

Mary Banas is an accomplished Senior Visual Designer at Rhode Island School of Design, contributing to the institution's identity through diverse creative projects since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Independent Design Professional for YES IS MORE, providing strategic design solutions for various clients, including well-known organizations and artists. Additionally, Mary has been a Design Educator at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, teaching aspiring designers. Previous roles include Art Director at John McNeil Studio, where branding and identity projects were completed for a range of clients. Mary holds an MFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA in Communication Design from the University of Connecticut.
