Matthew Manning

Matthew Manning is an experienced educator and professional in film production and animation. Currently serving as a Continuing Education Instructor at the Rhode Island School of Design since August 2020, Matthew teaches asynchronous film production and animation classes, supplemented by occasional Zoom meetings. With a substantial background in advertising and commercial production for notable companies such as The Walt Disney Company, McDonald's, and PepsiCo, Matthew has also contributed to animation and film production for networks like Cartoon Network and MTV since January 1995. Previously, from August 2015 to December 2019, Matthew held a position as a Professor at Woodbury University, focusing on curriculum design and instruction in animation and film. Matthew holds a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Mount Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from California State University, Long Beach.
