Sarah Sullivan

Senior Director, Institutional Engagement at Rhode Island School of Design

Sarah Sullivan has a diverse work experience in the field of institutional engagement, corporate and foundation partnerships, and development. Sarah has worked as the Senior Director of Institutional Engagement at the Rhode Island School of Design since June 2017, and previously served as the Director of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Partnerships at the same institution from June 2016 to June 2017. Prior to that, Sarah was the Chief Advancement Officer at SCI-Arc, the Southern California Institute of Architecture, from 2012 to March 2015. Sarah also held the position of Director of Development at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles in 2011 and had roles at the California Institute of the Arts, including Executive Director of Development from 2010 to 2011 and Director of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Giving from 2007 to 2010. Sarah's work experience also includes a role as the Director of Campus Development Initiative at Art Center College of Design from 2005 to 2007.

Sarah Sullivan completed their Bachelor's degree in French and Art History at The University of Texas at Austin from 1983 to 1987. Sarah later pursued a C. Phil. in Medieval History at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1995 to 2001.
