Susanna Prull has extensive experience in visual communications and institutional advancement. Susanna began their career at the University of Vermont as a Graduate Student Assistant in 2006. Susanna then worked as a Project Assistant at Providence Revolving Fund before joining Preserve Rhode Island in 2006.
At Preserve Rhode Island, they held various roles including Museum Assistant at Lippitt House Museum, Program & Communications Coordinator, and eventually Program Manager and Graphic Designer. In these roles, they were responsible for coordinating advocacy responses, designing promotional materials, managing events, conducting research, and overseeing fundraising campaigns.
Currently, Susanna is working at Rhode Island School of Design as the Associate Director of Visual Communications in the Institutional Advancement department. Susanna previously held the role of Senior Associate Director in the same department. Their experience at RISD includes leading visual communications efforts and supporting the institution's advancement goals.
Susanna Prull obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History & History from the University of Rhode Island from 1999 to 2003. Susanna then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont between 2004 and 2006. In 2002, they briefly studied Art History, Criticism, and Conservation at Studio Arts College International. Before their higher education, Susanna attended Smithfield High School from 1996 to 1999. Susanna also obtained additional certifications such as the Digital Marketing Fundamentals Professional Certificate from The University of Vermont Continuing and Distance Education in June 2019 and completed a course on Learning Graphic Design: Layouts from LinkedIn in 2016.
