Eric Fahey is a Principal Historic Preservation Specialist at the State of Rhode Island since March 2018, with extensive experience in archaeology and historic preservation. As the founder and Shaper/Glasser at Neck Down Surfcraft, established in December 2016, Eric also has a background as an Archaeologist at the Public Archaeology Laboratory from June 2010 to March 2018 and as a Field Archaeologist for The Boston City Archaeology Program from March 2012 to May 2017. Additional academic roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at UMass Boston in early 2014 and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Fiske Center for Archaeological Research from 2012 to 2014. Earlier experience includes contract work as a Research Consultant for The Ottery Group, and positions as a Design Coordinator at MacDonald Cabinet and Countertop Distributors, Inc., and a Carpenter at Redline General Contracting. Eric holds an M.A. in Historical Archaeology and a B.A. in Archaeology & History from UMass Boston.
