Tempie Thompson

Tempie Thompson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Roger Williams Park Zoo since September 2022, Tempie has held previous roles including Regional Director at NPH USA from December 2018 to January 2022, and Vice President of Development, Marketing & Communications at the YMCA of Greater Providence from December 2016 to November 2018. Additionally, Tempie was the Executive Director of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Red Cross from August 2015 to November 2016. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science from Boston University and a Master’s in Management focused on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Cambridge College.
