Rhombus Power
Jad Aboulhosn has been working in the software engineering field since 2019, when they began working as a Software Engineer - Lab Support at Verily for Genesis10. Prior to that, in 2021 they began working as a Software Engineer for Rhombus Power Inc. From 2015 to 2021, they worked in various roles, including Undergraduate Researcher, HIVE Lab Undergraduate Manager, and Dr. Rudy Ortiz Lab at UC Merced. At the Dr. Rudy Ortiz Lab, they developed algorithms to permute large and complex data sets, render observations, and create scientific documentation. At the HIVE Lab, they outlined and defined the pipeline and standard for processing structure-from-motion data into point clouds. In 2015, they started their own research, PEGASUS Biomedical, which focuses on using artificial intelligence and algorithms to predict heart attacks up to two hours in advance. In 2014, they were brought on to MESA Labs at UC Merced to create a custom software to catalog and record pilot information. In 2013, they interned at Valley Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC, where they assisted nurses in delivery of eye exams, patient intake, collected vitals and stats, and was allowed to observe procedures.
Jad Aboulhosn attended the University of California, Merced from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, with a field of study in Human Biology.
