In 2008, they were a Field Sales Representative for Vector Marketing, where they sold $35,000 in their first two months and became the #1 sales representative at the top office in the U.S. In 2009, they were promoted to Sales Manager at Vector Marketing. In 2011, they became an Associate Enterprise Sales Executive at Allscripts, where they traveled to NYC on a weekly basis to sell an Enterprise Electronic Health Record to physicians in the community, and achieved 100% of their quota. In 2012, they were promoted to Engagement Manager, Strategic Markets at Allscripts, where they worked with internal leaders to operationalize a national endorsement from Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and generated a $2,000,000 pipeline and closed $150,000 under program. In 2013, they became a Channel Account Executive at Phunware, Inc., where they prospected, trained, enabled, and on-boarded 13 Value Added Resellers and generated $200,000 in revenue leveraging Cisco MDF funds. In 2015, they became a Mid-Market Regional Sales Manager at Cisco Meraki, where they managed a team of 7 high performing sales reps with a quota of $25.4M annually and built a sales quota system and excel model for the entire mid-market operation. In 2018, they became a Sales Manager at Pure Storage, where they led a team of 5 infrastructure storage sales reps and grew the corporate sales territory by 50%. In 2020, they became a Co-Founder at Stello. Currently, they are a Channel Account Manager at Rhombus and an Account Executive at Syncari, where they are helping revenue leaders take back control of their data and restore data confidence.
Tyler Rustin received their Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 2012. Prior to that, they attended New Trier High School. In addition, they have earned certifications from Coursera Course Certificates in Applications of Everyday Leadership (September 2016), Understanding Financial Markets (August 2016), and Foundations of Everyday Leadership (July 2016). Tyler also holds a Real Estate Salesperson License obtained in December 2014.
