Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include Firmware Engineer and Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on firmware development and electronics design for educational tools. Chris also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting with lab instruction and exam supervision. Earlier experience at Grindcom involved developing control systems for forestry machinery, including circuit design and software development. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
