Carolyn Webster

Carolyn Webster has a long history of work experience in the software engineering, graphic design and marketing industries. Carolyn began their career in 2004 as a Production Artist at The Athens News and a Marketing Intern at Recovery Resources. In 2005, they joined J. Weekly as a Graphic Designer. From 2007 to 2017, they worked at The Focal Point LLC as a Lead Flash Developer/Senior Graphic Design Expert, Senior Graphic Designer/Flash Developer, and Graphic Designer. In 2017, they joined Rhumbix as a Senior Software Engineer, Interim Engineering Manager, and Full Stack Developer/Technical Lead. During their role as Interim Engineering Manager, they drove hiring efforts, established a 30/60/90/180 plan for all engineering levels, developed Interview Guides, planned and executed a fully-remote hackathon, worked closely with V-Suite and C-Suite leadership on culture initiatives, and established a peer-nominated award system for the team. As a Full Stack Developer, they worked on a mobile platform designed to increase construction productivity and safety.

Carolyn Webster attended Ohio University from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications - Information Graphics. In 2017, they completed a Software Engineering Fellowship at Hackbright Academy in the field of Computer Software Engineering.
