John Young

John Young has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. John most recently served as a Principal Software Engineer at Rhythm since April 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at TrackMaven from March 2014 to April 2020.

Before that, John worked at Excella Consulting, starting as a Student Software Consultant from January 2011 to May 2012. During this time, they developed software solutions and web applications for clients, both independently and as part of a team. John also served as a Consultant from May 2012 to March 2014, where they worked on .NET and Python development projects for multiple clients. Notable achievements include developing a Python/Django web application for George Washington University and creating a Python/Django proof of concept for a new client proposal.

John began their career as an Intern Software Developer at Vehicle Control Technologies in May 2011. Here, they worked on C++ and Python development projects, particularly in designing and producing unmanned watercraft and submarines. John'scontributions included refactoring the main vehicle controller type and writing Python scripts to ensure code correctness.
