Jim Flaherty

Jim Flaherty is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc. since July 2019, Jim previously held positions as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at both Rhythm Pharmaceuticals and Fresenius Medical Care North America from May 2013 to June 2019, where responsibilities included FDA regulatory matters. Jim's legal career began at Foley Hoag LLP, where time was spent as an attorney from March 2002 to May 2013, following a tenure in regulatory affairs at Johnson & Johnson from September 1996 to March 2002.
