Dr. Monika Weldon

Dr. Monika Weldon, DBH, LASAC, has extensive experience in behavioral health and child welfare services, currently serving as the Director of Outpatient Services at RI International since January 2017. Previously, Dr. Weldon held positions including Program Director and Program Manager at Child and Family Support Services and Regional Program Director at Southwest Behavioral Health Services. Additional roles encompass Child Welfare Worker at Alameda County Children and Family Services and Protective Services Worker at San Diego County Children's Services Bureau. Dr. Weldon began a career in supportive roles as a Therapeutic Foster Parent/House Parent at Intermountain Centers for Human Development. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Behavioral Health with a focus on Management and Integrated Healthcare from Arizona State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Alliant International University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fort Lewis College.
