Vesna Pankovska

Vesna Pankovska, MBA, CPA is currently serving as the Director of Finance at RI-MUHC. Prior to this, they worked at Concordia University as a Lecturer in Accountancy & Management and as a Course Instructor. Between 2008 and 2021, Vesna held various roles at Roche, including Director of Finance, Finance Manager, Associate Manager of Accounting, Team Leader of General Accounting, and Reporting Analyst. Vesna also worked as an Accounting Analyst at Novartis from 2006 to 2008. Before that, Vesna gained extensive experience in accounting and finance roles at Cosmofon and McDonald's.

Vesna Pankovska, MBA, CPA, has a diverse education history. Vesna completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje from 1992 to 1997. In 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Vesna also pursued further education at Concordia University, where they earned a CMA Graduate Certificate in Management Accounting from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Vesna completed an Executive CMA MBA program at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2006 to 2010, specializing in Strategic Leadership. More recently, in 2021, they achieved a Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of Higher and Continuing Education, specifically the C-TEACH program, from Concordia University. Furthermore, in 2023, Vesna participated in the Excellence in Canadian Board Governance program at McGill University. Additionally, Vesna Pankovska has obtained various certifications, such as EQ-i 2.0 + EQ 360 Certification from MHS Talent Development and the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) designation from the Scrum Alliance.
