Joonas Heiter

Joonas Heiter currently serves as the Director General at the Estonian Information System Authority (NCSC-EE) since January 2022, following a role as Director of State Information System and Deputy Director General. Previously, Joonas Heiter was Head of State Data Exchange Department at the Information System Authority from July 2018 to December 2021. Joonas Heiter's earlier experience includes key positions at Elisa Eesti AS, including Head of RAN Planning and Contracts and Head of Infrastructure from October 2015 to June 2018, and prior roles as Head of Telecommunication Site Management Unit and Network Construction Project Manager from June 2012 to September 2015. Joonas Heiter holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Telecommunications from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Tartu.
