Mitch Glazier serves as the Chairman and CEO of the Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA) since March 2000, having previously held the position of President. Prior to joining the RIAA, Mitch worked as Chief Counsel for the Courts and Intellectual Property Subcommittee of the Judiciary Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 1995 to March 2000. Mitch's legal career also includes experience as an Associate in Commercial Litigation at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP from 1993 to 1995 and as a Law Clerk for The Hon. Wayne R. Andersen at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois from 1991 to 1993. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University Law School (1988-1991) and a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy from Northwestern University (1984-1988).
