Harold P. de Vladar

Harold P. de Vladar is an accomplished scientist and entrepreneur currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Discovery Evolution since April 2024. De Vladar has a diverse background with extensive experience in founding and advising companies, including Ribbon Biolabs, where de Vladar has held multiple roles since June 2015. De Vladar's academic contributions include positions as Senior Fellow at the Konrad Lorenz Institute and the Institute for Advanced Studies Köszeg, along with significant research roles at the Parmenides Foundation and the Ecological Research Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. With a strong educational foundation that includes a PhD from the University of Groningen and degrees in applied mathematics, statistical physics, and biochemistry, de Vladar combines expertise in mathematical modeling and evolutionary biology.
