Andrew Valente

Andrew Valente has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Andrew started their career at Cascade/Ascend/Lucent as a Principal SQA Engineer, and later became a Principal/Consulting SQA Engineer. Andrew then worked at WaveSmith Networks as a Consulting SQA Engineer. Afterwards, they joined Ciena as a Principal SQA/SVT Engineer for nine years. Andrew then worked at General Dynamics C4 Systems as a Principal Systems Engineer, specializing in mobile communications for the army. Andrew then joined Ericsson as a Principal SQA Engineer, focusing on testing the SSR 8000 Router and its IPv4 and IPv6 QoS features. Following that, they worked at Sonus as a Principal SQA Engineer, responsible for product development testing and transitioning the product line to virtualized distributed SBCs. Currently, Andrew is working at Ribbon Communications as a Principal SVT Engineer.

Andrew Valente attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1984 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Communication Systems.
