Paula Bergin

Paula Bergin has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to revenue recognition and accounting. Paula started their career at AIB as an ATM Technical Specialist in 1999 before joining CSC as an IS Systems Testing Specialist in 2000. In 2005, Paula moved to Nortel Networks, where they held several roles including Revenue Recognition Accountant, Statutory Financial Accountant & Payroll Prime, and Inter-Company & Fixed Asset Prime. In 2010, they joined Ciena as a Senior Revenue Accountant & Global Revenue Governance. Paula then worked at Genband as a Senior International Revenue Accountant from 2011 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Ribbon Communications as a Senior International Revenue Recognition Manager, a role they have held since 2019. Throughout their career, Paula has demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition, financial accounting, and global revenue governance.

Paula Bergin obtained a Teaching Diploma in Information Technology Skills from JEB in 2002 and completed the program in 2003. Paula then pursued a degree in Industrial Computing at Waterford Institute of Technology from 1997 to 1999. Finally, they earned their Certified Public Accountant designation from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants between 2005 and 2008.
