Rotem Cohen

VP R&d, Head Of System Architecture at Ribbon Communications

Rotem Cohen has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Rotem started their career as an Analyst at Correlation Systems in 2001 and worked there until 2005. Rotem then joined Nokia Siemens Networks as a Senior System Engineer from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they joined ECI Telecom as a System Engineer and later became a System Architecture Group Manager from 2012 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Director of System Architecture, managing a team of architects and working on the introduction of NFV capabilities. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of System Architecture and focused on SDN and Management Systems. In 2020, following the acquisition of ECI Telecom by Ribbon Communications, they assumed the position of VP R&D, Head of System Architecture at Ribbon's Packet Optical Networks business unit.

Rotem Cohen completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, in January 2017, they received a certification in Software Security from Coursera Course Certificates.
