Zeecil Kimmel

Zeecil Kimmel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Zeecil is currently working as a Senior Federal Sales Engineer at Ribbon Communications since July 2022. Previously, from October 2020 to August 2022, they held the position of Lead Team Captain & Collaborations Solutions Engineer at Cisco. Within Cisco, they started their career in October 2014 as a Collaboration Solutions Consulting Engineer, specializing in Unified Communications in the secure space. Prior to Cisco, Zeecil worked at ANI as a Cisco Solutions Readiness Engineer from March 2007 to October 2014, where they focused on enabling partners on Cisco's Collaboration Solutions and delivering hands-on training. Zeecil also had a brief stint as a NOC Engineer at AT&T from March 2004 to March 2007. Earlier in their career, Zeecil worked as an Engineer at Technica Corporation in 2003 and as a Rapid Response Engineer at Nortel Networks from 1999 to 2002.

Zeecil Kimmel attended Thomas Edison State University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Zeecil has obtained various certifications over the years. In 2013, they obtained the CCNA-Video certification from Cisco. The following year, in 2014, they earned the VCP5 Data Center certification from VMware. In 2015, Zeecil achieved multiple certifications, including the CCNA and CCNA-Voice from Cisco, as well as the CISSP certification from (ISC)². More recently, in 2022, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP) certification, and in 2023, they became a Cybersecurity Exam Development Volunteer at (ISC)².
