Sonia M.

Sonia M. serves as Legal Counsel at RIC Energy since June 2019, specializing in corporate matters and participating in the M&A process for over 4,000 MWp of diverse energy projects. Previously, Sonia held the position of Investment Associate, effectively managing financial operations exceeding €300 million across various markets. Earlier experience includes a role as Deals Associate at PwC España, where participation in the elite Deals Graduate Programme involved multiple rotations focused on M&A and commercial due diligence. Additional internships at Garrigues, Baker & McKenzie, and Uría Menéndez provided foundational exposure to commercial law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Educational qualifications include an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, a dual degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and a Master of Law (LLM) from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
