Robert Bruce

Dean of the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University

Robert Bruce is the current Dean of the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University. Robert previously served as the Director of UNC Carolina Office for Online Learning (COOL) from January 2011 to November 2017. Prior to that, they were the Associate Dean of Continuing and Innovative Education at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2006 to December 2011.

Robert Bruce has a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Arts in English from Texas A&M University, and a Ph.D. in English from Texas A&M University.
