Yvonne Romero Da Silva

Yvonne Romero Da Silva is the Vice President for Enrollment at Rice University. Yvonne previously served as Vice Dean and Director of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania from October 2012 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were Senior Director at The College Board from January 2005 to October 2012. Yvonne began their career in 2004 as a finance consultant at FileMaker, before taking on the role of product marketing intern there the following year. From July 1994 to July 2002, they served as Associate Director of Admission at MIT, where they designed and executed strategic marketing and recruitment initiatives. Yvonne has also worked as an emergency credential math and science teacher at Moreno Valley Unified School District.

Yvonne Romero Da Silva has a Doctorate of Education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education in Higher Education Management. Yvonne also has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Business. Additionally, they have a Master's from Harvard Graduate School of Education in Education and a B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Mathematics.
