Jae Kim serves as the 2024 Jesse Jones Baker Institute Washington DC Fellow at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy, conducting policymaking research. Jae has held various leadership roles, including undergraduate student body president and college president at Rice University, overseeing budgets, advocating for student issues, and leading initiatives in sustainability and diversity, equity, and inclusion. As founder and executive director of multiple nonprofits, such as Hermes Free Telehealth and Project:Acclimate, Jae has made significant contributions to public health and climate adaptation efforts. Jae's academic prowess is reflected in a BS in Environmental Science with a perfect GPA from Rice University, following a high school diploma from Hunter College High School and non-degree studies at Columbia University.
