Mustika Urbaningsih has a diverse work background, starting as a Head Waitress at Texas Sushi Hana and later transitioning into roles such as Library Clerk at Fort Bend County and Student Researcher at University of St. Thomas (TX). Currently, Mustika serves as a Constituent Relations Officer at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy, where Mustika coordinates and implements strategies to strengthen constituent relations. Mustika is also pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business.

Founded in 1993, the Baker Institute is one of the leading nonpartisan public policy think tanks in the country.
