Antoinne Barnes

Antoinne Barnes is an experienced special education teacher with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving at The Virtual Academy since November 2021, Antoinne previously held positions as a Special Education Teacher-LBS1 at Rich Township High School District 227 since August 2014 and as a Special Education Teacher at Rich South High School from 2014 to February 2022. Prior experience includes teaching science at Chicago Public Schools from 2008 to 2014. Antoinne holds a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Governors State University, earned between 2010 and 2012, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Chicago State University, completed from 1988 to 1992.
