Dr. Laura Chapman DNP, MSN, RN, PEL, CSN is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as the District Nurse for Rich Township High School District 227 since August 2019. Prior to this role, Dr. Chapman worked as the Health Coordinator and Certified School Nurse at Evergreen Park Community High School from August 2017 to July 2019. Dr. Chapman holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Leadership from Capella University, obtained between August 2019 and March 2022, along with a Post Master's Diabetes Educator Certificate from the same institution in 2015. Additionally, Dr. Chapman earned a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University from 2010 to 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from Penn State University from 1991 to 1995.
