Elamayuran Chandrasegaram

Elamayuran Chandrasegaram has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Elamayuran started their career at HMV Retail Ltd in 2008, where they worked as a Senior Sales Assistant until 2010, managing promotions and stock for the core DVD range.

In 2010, Elamayuran joined Richer Sounds and held various roles. Elamayuran started as a Senior Sales Assistant and progressed to become a Web Assistant and Support, where they created marketing images, managed product information, and wrote SEO-friendly copy for the website.

Elamayuran then transitioned to IT Tech and Network Support, where they provided first-line support for IT infrastructure and the EPOS/ERP system. Elamayuran also oversaw the procurement, setup, and deployment of network infrastructure for 52 stores.

From there, Elamayuran became a System Transformation Lead, managing the transition from a legacy POS/ERP system to a modern multi-channel software solution. Elamayuran authored the business rules and system processes and managed interactions with third-party developers to ensure timely project delivery.

In their most recent role at Richer Sounds, Elamayuran served as a Project Manager, overseeing the development of the core business ERP system. Elamayuran had proficient skills in SQL, primarily using MSSQL, and utilized it for prototyping digital propositions, troubleshooting, and supporting the development of new functionality.

Currently, Elamayuran is the Director of IT at Richer Sounds, where they started in November 2021.

Elamayuran Chandrasegaram attended Tiffin Boys School from 1998 to 2005. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Canterbury Christ Church University from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Business with Computing.
