Forrest McKinnis

Forrest McKinnis has extensive experience in education and athletics, currently serving as a Re-Engagement/Contract Learning Teacher and Health/Physical Education/Technology Teacher at Richland School District 400 since 2010. In addition to teaching, Forrest functions as an AVID Site Coordinator, supporting classroom teachers to enhance effective teaching practices. As Co-Founder and Director of the Tri-Cities Officials Academy since June 2019, Forrest is dedicated to training high school basketball officials in play calling and communication. Furthermore, Forrest operates 3 Second T-Shirt, a t-shirt line focused on quality and customer experience. Academically, Forrest holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Eastern Oregon University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Western Oregon University.
