Lawana Robinson-Lee

LaWana Robinson-Lee has a diverse work experience in procurement and contract management. LaWana currently serves as the Executive Director of Procurement and Contracted Services at Richland School District 2 since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Procurement Services at Rock Hill School District from February 2018 to June 2022. LaWana also has significant experience in the public sector, having served as the Deputy Director of Procurement and Contracts at the City of Columbia from August 2012 to January 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the acquisition of supplies and services, reviewing and approving purchase orders for various departments, and preparing and completing solicitations for professional services, construction, and goods and services.

LaWana Robinson-Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Morris College, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. LaWana also completed their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates at Camden High School between 1993 and 1996. LaWana Robinson-Lee went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business from Webster University from 2004 to 2007. LaWana later obtained a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from Strayer University, completing the program between 2009 and 2011. LaWana continued their education at Strayer University, earning a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Public Administration from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to procurement, including the NIGP Certified Procurement Professional and Certified Public Procurement Officer from UPPCC, achieved in 2020 and 2014 respectively.
