Matt Wixted

Matt Wixted has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Matt is currently the VP of Finance at Richmond American Homes since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance at Richmond American Homes from February 2016 to October 2021. Before joining Richmond American Homes, they held various finance roles at Beazer Homes, including Director of Finance for the Florida Region from December 2013 to February 2016, Director of Finance for Charleston & Myrtle Beach from October 2012 to November 2013, and Director of Finance for the SE Regional Accounting from February 2009 to September 2012. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis at Smith & Nephew from September 2008 to February 2009. Matt also served as the VP of Finance at Taylor Morrison Homes from August 2007 to May 2008, VP of Finance at KB HOME from December 2005 to July 2007, and Director of Finance/Controller at Pulte Homes from March 2002 to December 2005. Matt began their career as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers from August 1997 to June 2001.

Matt Wixted has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the University of South Florida, completed from 1991 to 1993. In terms of additional certifications, they are a Certified Management Accountant, granted by the Institute of Management Accountants in 2002, and a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of Florida in 1997.
