Cristi Zedd, LCSW, has over 25 years of experience in the field of developmental services and mental health. Cristi began their career at Family and Children's Services of Richmond as an Outpatient Clinician, providing mental health treatment to individuals, couples, and families. Cristi then worked at Children's Hospital as an Information and Referral Specialist and Case Manager, where they provided medical case management services to children with developmental disabilities. At UMFS, Cristi served as an Intensive In-Home Counselor and Mentor Coordinator, revamping the Mentor Program and providing home-based counseling to at-risk youth. Cristi later joined VCU Health as an Access Coordinator, administering central point of entry functions for the City of Richmond's Early Intervention program. Currently, Cristi is the Chief Operating Officer of Developmental Services at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority, where they lead and directs systemic change to provide integrated, person-centered services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Cristi also manages case management programs and crisis prevention programs for those with dual mental health diagnoses.
Cristi Zedd, LCSW holds a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Developmental Psychology and Elementary Education from Virginia Wesleyan University, which they completed between 1990 and 1994. Additionally, Cristi Zedd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified by the Virginia Department of Health Professionals/Board of Social Work in 2001.

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and is the statutorily established public entity responsible for providing mental health, developmental services, substance use disorders and prevention services to the citizens of the City of Richmond. Integrated services are available for adults, children and families through a central intake unit. Services are provided directly by staff of the Authority and through contracts with private providers in the community
