Dr. Tabatha Spurlock

Dr. Tabatha Spurlock is an experienced education and leadership professional, currently serving as a CTE Academic Advisor and Business Education Teacher at Richmond Public Schools since January 2020. Previously, Dr. Spurlock held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Empower One, Inspire Many LLC and served as K-12 Intervention Specialist for HENRICO COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Dr. Spurlock also founded Spark of Life, a female youth empowerment program. Early career experience includes roles as CTE Department Chair, Business Teacher, and Head Cheerleading Coach at HCPS. Dr. Spurlock holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership & Technology from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Administration and Management with a focus on Small Business and Entrepreneurship from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
