Matthew Stanley serves as the Director of Advocacy & Outreach for Richmond Public Schools, a position held since November 2018, providing senior advisory support on local engagement strategies, state government, communications, and media relations. Notably, Matthew successfully facilitated the passage of legislation in 2020 (SB 888) that established the Virginia Commission on School Construction and Modernization. Prior to this role, Matthew held several significant positions, including Vice President at AEGIS Associates, LLC from December 2010 to December 2019, Government Affairs Associate at Advantus Strategies, LLC in 2008-2009, and Legislative Analyst for Delegate Robert H. Matthew holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Studies and French Language from Virginia Commonwealth University and studied at Sciences Po Aix from 2006 to 2007.
