Karen Wyks-Lindsay is an accomplished professional in the fields of design and recreation, currently serving as a Recreation Leader at Richmond Community Services since June 2013, where responsibilities include creating and leading recreational programs for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. In addition to their role at Richmond Community Services, Karen has worked as a Freelance Designer since April 2008, focusing on original print designs for home textiles and apparel. Previous experience includes a role as a Freelance Artist at Museum Editions, where embellishments were added to limited edition prints by renowned 3-D artist Charles Fazzino, and instruction in handweaving at Etui Fiber Arts. Notable contributions were also made as the Online Store Manager at Blue Door Art Center, and as an Artist for Anne Koplik Designs, specializing in vintage-inspired costume jewelry. Educational qualifications include a BFA in Textile Design/Art from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
