Nick Spano

Nick Spano is President of Empire Strategic Planning, an Albany-based government relations firm. He was also one of Westchester’s longest-serving and most senior State Legislators, serving as Assemblyman and then State Senator. During that time he earned a record as a champion of people with developmental disabilities – a cause that he continues to lead today. Nick comes from a family with a tradition of public service, his father Leonard Spano having served as a County Legislator and County Clerk, and his brother Michael currently in his second term as Mayor of the City of Yonkers.
