Dr Justin Trounson

Dr. Justin Trounson is a Clinical Psychologist and Director at Connected Minds since July 2016, with a concurrent role as Wellbeing and Community Programs Psychologist at Richmond Football Club since May 2022. Dr. Trounson has held various academic positions at Swinburne University of Technology since January 2015, including Adjunct Research Fellow at the National Centre for Reconciliation Practice and Senior Lecturer. The focus of the doctoral research involved enhancing wellbeing and resilience within prisons. Previous experience includes working as a Provisional Psychologist at Alfred Health, where responsibilities involved mental health awareness and individual counseling, as well as similar roles at Swinburne University and G4S. Dr. Trounson holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on Clinical and Forensic Psychology, along with an Honours degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication from Swinburne University of Technology.
