Michelle Amar is an experienced professional in the field of aquatics, fitness, and recreation, currently serving as the Manager of Aquatics, Fitness & Skating for the City of Richmond Hill since 2020. With a career spanning over two decades, Michelle's previous roles include Aquatic Coordinator at the Centennial and Elgin West Pools, Summer Camp Coordinator, Fitness Coordinator, and Aquatic Supervisor. Additionally, Michelle holds a position as a Leadership Instructor for the Lifesaving Society Ontario, teaching various aquatic leadership courses. Prior experience includes various aquatic roles with the City of Vaughan and an Aquatic Coordinator position with the City of Hamilton. Michelle's educational background includes a Postgraduate Degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Humber College and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from York University.
