Drew Norris

Drew Norris has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Drew began their career as an Athletic Facilities Grounds Staff member for the City of Salem Parks and Recreation in 2016. Drew then worked as a Golf Facility Staff member at Golden Hills Golf and Country Club before joining the Louisville Bats Baseball Club as a Sports Turf Management Intern in 2017. In the same year, Drew also worked as both a Community Assistant and a Senior Community Assistant at Park7 Group, where they demonstrated management skills and implemented marketing strategies. In 2018, they interned as a Tournament Operations Intern at the HERITAGE Classic Foundation and as a Marketing and Promotions Intern at the University of South Carolina.

Drew's sports industry experience continued with roles at the Columbia Fireflies and PGA TOUR in 2018. At the Columbia Fireflies, they served as a Grounds Crew Assistant, gaining experience in maintaining sports fields. At PGA TOUR, they worked as a Client Services Intern, assisting with hospitality and sponsorship management, client services, and sales support.

Afterwards, Drew joined the Richmond Flying Squirrels in 2018, first as a Corporate Sales Executive and later as an Assistant Manager for Field and Ballpark Operations.

Currently, Drew holds a leadership position at the Richmond Kickers Soccer Club, having served as the Manager for Field and Stadium Operations from June 2020 to January 2021, then as the Director of Field Operations and Corporate Partnerships from January 2021 to November 2022. Drew currently holds the role of Vice President for Corporate Partnerships at the same club.

Drew Norris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. In 2019, they pursued a Certificate in Sports Field Management at The Ohio State University, completing it in 2020.
