Darren Nichols

Darren Nichols is an experienced Senior Underwriter specializing in Professional Liability at Richmond National since September 2021, having previously held the position of Underwriter in the same field at Verus Underwriting Managers from April 2016 to September 2021. Prior to these roles, Darren served as an Underwriting Assistant and Operations Coordinator, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry. Darren's career began with a Human Resources Internship at the City of Richmond, Virginia, in the summer of 2015. Educationally, Darren earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources from Virginia Tech, following studies at Radford University from 2011 to 2013.
