Adam Zimmerli is an experienced library and community services manager currently overseeing the Richmond Public Library in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, VA, since April 2015. Previously, Adam worked at Virginia Union University as a Digital Literacy Librarian and held roles such as Public Services Librarian in Special Collections and Archives and Adjunct Professor, teaching US History. Additional experience includes positions at the Omohundro Institute of Early American History, Shepherdstown Lutheran Parish as an Archivist, an internships at Stadtmuseum Dresden and Wisconsin Historical Society. Adam holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science and a Master's Degree in American History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with a Bachelor's Degree focused on Civil War America from Shepherd University and an Associate's Degree from Itasca Community College.
