Alexandria Eady is an experienced content manager currently with Richmond Region Tourism since July 2021. Prior to this role, Alexandria served as a digital marketing specialist at S4 Lights, where responsibilities included managing digital communications and social media while promoting the S4 brand. Previous positions include social media coordinator for UnlockingRVA and multimedia journalist for WTIU-TV (PBS), where Alexandria pitched and reported news stories across multiple platforms. Alexandria also held leadership roles as Special Relations Chair for the NABJ at Indiana University and student reporter and news producer for Indiana University Student Television. An active volunteer, Alexandria coordinated a reading program at the Boys & Girls Club and held the position of media intern at Indiana University Bloomington. Alexandria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.

Each year, more than 16 million people visit the Richmond Region, and they contribute close to $2.9 billion to the local economy. Tourism generates almost 24,000 jobs in the Richmond Region. Richmond Region Tourism is a private, not-for-profit dedicated to promoting the Region to meeting, convention and sports event planners, tour operators and leisure travelers. The organization represents the cities of Richmond and Colonial Heights, the town of Ashland and four counties: Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico and New Kent. Richmond Region Tourism operates Visitor Centers at the Robinson House at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Richmond International Airport.
