Danielle Fitz-Hugh is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Vice President of Community Relations at Richmond Region Tourism since August 2023. Previously, Danielle held the position of President & CEO at the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce from October 2017 to August 2023, focusing on business growth and community development. Danielle has also led the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce as President/CEO, contributed as a Board Member for People's Advantage Federal Credit Union, and served as President of the Board of Directors for Helen Project International. With experience in various advisory roles, including at the National College of Business & Technology and Charlottesville Albemarle Technical Education Center, Danielle brings a strong background in business leadership and community advocacy. Danielle earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Averett University and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Piedmont Virginia Community College.

Each year, more than 16 million people visit the Richmond Region, and they contribute close to $2.9 billion to the local economy. Tourism generates almost 24,000 jobs in the Richmond Region. Richmond Region Tourism is a private, not-for-profit dedicated to promoting the Region to meeting, convention and sports event planners, tour operators and leisure travelers. The organization represents the cities of Richmond and Colonial Heights, the town of Ashland and four counties: Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico and New Kent. Richmond Region Tourism operates Visitor Centers at the Robinson House at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Richmond International Airport.
