James Rickard

James Rickard serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Richmond Research Institute since May 2023, spearheading a clinical research program aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. Concurrently, James holds the position of Co-Vice Chair and member of the British Pharmacopoeia Commission within the Department of Health and Social Care, contributing to the development of the British Pharmacopoeia and providing critical advisory services. As a Visiting Senior Lecturer at King's College London since March 2021, James shares expertise in pharmaceutical sciences. James has a notable history of leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board of Trustees at The Arc Nursery London Bridge, driving initiatives to elevate early years education, and previously served as Chief Scientific Officer at Biotherapy Services Ltd. A seasoned professional in pharmacy, James also has extensive experience in various capacities across multiple NHS Trusts and pharmacopoeias, with a strong educational background in Pharmacy from Cardiff University.
